Ihram is the sacred state entered at the Miqat boundary. It carries specific prohibitions that must be observed throughout Hajj.
"Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner, here I am. Verily all praise, grace, and sovereignty are Yours. You have no partner."

Make sincere intention (Niyyah) to perform Hajj solely for Allah. Purify your heart, settle debts, and seek forgiveness.
At the Miqat (boundary), don the white seamless garments — two sheets for men, modest dress for women. Recite the Talbiyah: لبيك اللهم لبيك
Tawaf (7 circuits around Kaaba), Sa'i (7 trips between Safa & Marwah), and shaving/trimming hair. This completes the Umrah portion for Tamattu'.
Travel to Mina on 8th Dhul-Hijjah. Spend the day and night in prayer and reflection in the tent city.
9th Dhul-Hijjah — the most important day. Stand in prayer and supplication on Mount Arafah from noon until sunset. This is the essence of Hajj.
After sunset, travel to Muzdalifah. Collect 49 or 70 pebbles for the stoning ritual. Pray and rest in the open.
10th Dhul-Hijjah: Stone the largest Jamarat (7 pebbles). Offer sacrifice (Hadi). Men shave or trim hair. Perform Tawaf al-Ifadah.
11th-13th Dhul-Hijjah: Stay in Mina. Stone all three Jamarat daily (21 pebbles each day). Engage in dhikr and prayer.
Before leaving Makkah, perform Tawaf al-Wada' (Farewell Tawaf) — 7 circuits around the Kaaba. This is the final ritual.
